Cycle Live Notts Tour Ride
Sunday 9th September 2018
To celebrate the Tour of Britain coming to Nottinghamshire again this year, Cycle Live is delighted to announce the Cycle Live Notts Tour Ride on Sunday 9th September.
This event will give participants the chance to ride the same Nottinghamshire route as the longest stage of this year’s Tour of Britain – all 140 miles of it!
Entry is £50. Click here to enter now.
The event will start in West Bridgford Town Centre at 6:30am.
The event will finish at the Civic Centre in Mansfield.
The route is 136 miles in length and it is a tough one with 1700m of climbing included. There is one Category 5 climb and a truly leg sapping Category 3 climb which lasts for 14km. The route takes in the three King of the Mountains sections used on the Tour of Britain route.
All seven Nottinghamshire districts and the City are included as well as trips through the traditional market towns and the stunning Nottinghamshire countryside.
To get a flavour of the route you’ll be riding, check out the Nottinghamshire County Council website by clicking here.
There will be three feed stations on the route for you to refuel and take a break. All three are included in the price of entry, so you won’t need any money at these stops.
With the event starting and finishing in different places we have transport options available for you and your bike.
You can choose to get transport from Mansfield to West Bridgford for the start, with the transport leaving at 5:30am.
Alternatively you can get return transport back to West Bridgford from the finish in Mansfield. Approximate coach times are at 4pm, 5pm, 6pm and 6:30pm, although no coaches will leave if only half full.
The transport also includes a truck for your bike to ride in. Bubble wrap will be provided to help protect your bike in transit, although you will need to wrap it yourself.
Transport tickets are priced at £15 and can be added during the entry process.
