• How do I enter?

    You can enter online via the relevant pages on this website. Just look for the register button next to the relevant ride.
  • Do I have to purchase the items at the feed stations?

    Feed stations will have a variety of items to purchase around each route.
  • Can I enter the event on the day?

    Yes, as long as the capacity for the ride you want to enter has not been reached. It will make your life much easier if you sign up in advance though.
  • Can I raise money for any charity?

    Yes, you are welcome to raise money for whichever charity you wish, although we would love it if you would raise for our official event charity, When You Wish Upon a Star.
  • Where is the start venue?

    The Victoria Embankment in Nottingham which is easily accessible on your bike and has great local transport links. Visit the Transport Information page under The Event page for more detail.
  • How far away is the nearest train station?

    Nottingham train station is less than 1 mile away from the start/finish.
  • I registered a while ago, when will I receive my rider info pack?

    Rider information packs will be sent out approximately 2-3 weeks before the event.
  • I will not now be able to take part in the event, can I get a refund?

    We are happy to provide a refund minus the admin fee of £7.50 up until Friday 5th May 2017. After this date, we’re afraid there will be no refund or credits issued.
  • My friend and I registered at different times. Can we still start and ride together?

    Yes, providing you have both selected the same start time during the entry process.
  • What do I do if I experience problems with payment during online entry?

    You may have some difficulty paying if you are attempting to do so from work and you have a stringent firewall in place. Try from home and if you are still experiencing problems, give us a call on 0115 9683327 and we’ll be happy to help you.
  • What is in my rider information pack?

    Your rider number (to be attached to your front, outermost layer of clothing), an event information booklet that tells you all you need to know and an event sponsorship form.
  • What items are served at the feed stations?

    Various items are served at each location, but they will include tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits, water. At Car Colston, there will also be a BBQ in operation offering breakfast rolls for the earlier riders and burgers for those getting there in time for lunch.
  • What shall I do if I do not receive my rider info pack?

    Come along to the Registration area on the morning of the event.
  • What time does registration open?

    Registration will open on the morning of the event from 6.00am. We recommend you arrive at least 30 minutes before your individual ride’s start time.
  • What time does the event close?

    The event will officially close at 6:00pm.
  • Where do I pick up t-shirts?

    T-shirts will be available from the Registration point.
  • Will the racing be taking place in 2017?

    There will be no racing in 2017.
  • Will the City Ride be taking place in 2017?

    Unfortunately there will not be any City Rides in 2017.
