25 Mile Ride

Open to ages 6* and over riding their own bikes, or for children (under 6) on a tag-a-long or as a passenger on a child seat that complies with CE standards. Entrants must be capable of completing the distance within the allocated time.Tag-a-long bikes and bikes with child seats attached can be used but both the adult and child must be entered to take part in the event.All ages 15* and under and riding their own bike MUST be accompanied by an adult on a 1:2 ratio (1 adult to 2 children).It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian of the entrant to ensure that participants under the age of 16* are capable of completing the route within the allocated time of four hours.

50 Mile Ride

Open to ages 10 and over riding their own bikes, or for younger children (under 10) on tag-a-long or as a passenger on a child seat that complies with CE standards. Entrants must be capable of completing the distance within the allocated time of 8 hours.Tag-a-long bikes and bikes with child seats attached can be used but both the adult and child must be entered to take part in the event.All ages 15 & under MUST be accompanied by an adult on 1:2 ratio (1adult to 2children).It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian of the entrant to ensure that participants under the age of 16 are capable of completing the route within the allocated time.

75 Mile Ride

Open to ages 16 and over riding their own bikes. Entrants must be capable of completing the distance within the allocated time of 8 hours.All ages 17 & under MUST be accompanied by an adult on 1:2 ratio (1adult to 2children).It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian of the entrant to ensure that participants under the age of 17 are capable of completing the route within the allocated time.

100 Mile Ride

Open to ages 18* and over only. Entrants must be capable of completing the distance within the allocated time. Each person riding must pay the entry fee, e.g.: Tandem’s count as two entries.Persons riding must be capable of completing the distance in the 10 hours allotted time.

125 Mile Ride

Open to ages 18* and over only. Entrants must be capable of completing the distance within the allocated time. Each person riding must pay the entry fee, e.g.: Tandem’s count as two entries.Persons riding must be capable of completing the distance in the 10 hours allotted time.

General Conditions of Entry

By agreeing to the terms and conditions you are confirming that you understand the above and agree to conform to the rules stipulated.By agreeing to these terms and conditions give permission for your image to be used by the organisers of Cycle Live Nottingham and all partnering organisations for the purposes of future marketing of the event in print, online and other traditional medium.In the event that Cycle Live Nottingham has to be cancelled for any reason the organiser reserves the right to schedule a date within 60 days of the original date of the event to a location within 20 miles of the planned venue if the original is no longer suitable.

Participants will not be entitled to a refund due to cancellation as long as the conditions stated previously are adhered to. However, the organiser may choose to offer an appropriate solution to anyone who is unable to attend a revised date due to the original cancellation.All riders agree to participate in the race(s) entirely at their own risk, that they must rely on their own ability in dealing with all hazards and that they must ride in a manner which is safe for themselves and all others.

They must be aware that when riding in an event and particularly when riding on a public highway the function of the marshals is only to indicate direction and that they must decide if the movement is safe. They agree that no liability whatsoever shall be attached to Perfect Motion as organisers, any promoter, club, meeting sponsor(s), British Cycling, or any official, member or volunteer of the of the organisers or any of the above in respect of any injury, loss or damage suffered by them in or by reason of the race, however caused.

Finally, by agreeing to these terms and conditions you agree to accept the event’s refund policy as stated on this page.

Entry into the Rides

We will be happy to offer a refund minus an admin fee of £7.50 per entrant for anyone wishing to withdraw from any Cycle Live/ Great Notts Bike Ride event until FRIDAY 5th MAY 2017.

After FRIDAY 5th MAY 2017 we regret that we will not be able to provide any refund or credit transfer or credit either in full or in part whatever the circumstances of the entrants’ non-attendance or need to withdraw.

Please note – the same applies to all pre-paid places.

Merchandise and Feed Station Items

All feed station items are non-refundable as the food will have been ordered based on your selections.

All merchandise items are also non-refundable. If a received item is faulty, we will be happy to look into providing a replacement if the fault is down to the manufacturing. Cycle Live Nottingham and all related partners will accept no liability for any damage to the garments once in the possession of the customer.

Please also note that it will not be possible to swap sizes on items purchased unless there is a surplus. Please keep in mind that the items are technical garments and therefore are a tighter fit. Please select appropriately.
